Greetings!

Welcome to my First Nations consulting services site!

My name is Marlene Luck, and I am excited to share what I have learned to help First Nations and Tribal Councils so that First Nation Indigenous Peoples benefit from increased access to programs, various supporting services, infrastructure, and community projects.

I was born and raised in Northern Alberta, Canada. I am a member of the Mikisew Cree First Nation. I grew up in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, a very beautiful community, situated on the shores of Lake Athabasca.

Early in life I spent a great deal of time with my grandmother; sometimes living with her in a cabin on a traditional trapline. I learned and appreciated traditional remedies and practices. This inspired me to start a company producing and later distributing medicinal cremes and environmental friendly cleaning product alternatives.

Within a few years, I was a supplier to industry in the Fort McMurray, and Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alberta region. During the business start-up and expansion phases, I encountered many different challenges and successes. Many valuable lessons were learned.

My motivation moving forward is to help others deal with challenges; leverage strategic advantages; access resources; and see First Nations and Indigenous Peoples accessing greater resources and improving their qualities of life.

You can expect to find an increasing number resources on this site that will provide information and links to benefit First Nations, Tribal Councils, and Indigenous Peoples, as we move forward.

I will also be working to establish and provide a site called IndigenousNet that will benefit Indigenous Peoples all over by providing a space for interactions, content, sharing, collaborations, and specific spaces that will enable growth and opportunity. More about this soon!

I look forward to the journey ahead with you!
